The bathroom light didn't work when we arrived, and the TV was falling off the stand! After switching rooms, we encountered a slow-flushing toilet, which required us to buy a $3 plunger from Walmart instead of asking for help. Additionally, the noisy guests at 1 AM made it impossible to sleep with the sound vibrating through our walls and bed. This was not the relaxing getaway we expected.

Super 8 was a decent base for exploring Fort Walton Beach, and the nearby Big Kahuna's water park was just a quick drive away, making it fun for the kids. We appreciated that we could bring our pet, which made our family vacation complete.

For dads, it would be great if the breakfast options were improved for families.

During my stay, I really appreciated the great access to Liza Jackson Park, which is just a short stroll away, and also loved how close we were to the Emerald Coast Science Center, perfect for a fun visit. it made my weekend exploration so enjoyable, with plenty of beautiful views nearby and easy walks to local attractions.
